One roof for the sector.

The Turkish Event Technologies Sector Association (TETSED) was founded to bring every stakeholder in the event and meeting technologies sector together under one roof, to steer the sector's development and to build a strong sectoral structure in Türkiye.

Since its founding, TETSED has analysed the sector's needs accurately and worked with a solution-oriented, sustainable approach. With its strong, dynamic and participatory structure, it is steadily becoming the voice of the sector.

Institutional structure, professional standards, cooperation.

TETSED's core purpose is to strengthen the institutional structure of the event and meeting technologies sector in Türkiye, to establish its professional standards and to develop a strong culture of cooperation among all stakeholders.

To that end, our main goals are to:

• Contribute to the creation of professional standards for our sector,
• Represent the sector before public institutions and all relevant official bodies,
• Produce lasting solutions to the sector's common problems through collective wisdom and cooperation,
• Strengthen communication and solidarity among member companies,
• Identify the areas where the sector needs to grow and institutionalise, and ensure the necessary work is carried out,
• Raise service quality and bring our sector up to international standards,
• Contribute to the professional development of companies and employees working in event and meeting technologies,
• Support the training of the qualified workforce the sector needs.

A qualified workforce.

We also work actively on one of the sector's most pressing needs: developing a qualified workforce.

We aim to build partnerships with the Ministry of National Education, vocational high schools, universities and related institutions to help shape training models that fit the sector's needs.

Alongside this, we organise technical training, workshops and professional development programmes for the employees of our member companies, raising the knowledge and competence of the technical staff working in the field.

In the long run, structuring this training around defined standards and offering professional certification to those who complete it successfully is among TETSED's priority goals.

At TETSED we believe the sector's progress depends not only on the individual success of companies, but on collective wisdom, solidarity, standardisation and strong sectoral representation.

With this understanding, we bring together the companies, employees and all related stakeholders on one platform to increase the exchange of knowledge and experience, develop joint projects and shape the future of the sector together.

500 members and a professional chamber.

Foremost among TETSED's long-term goals is to unite the companies working in event and meeting technologies across Türkiye under one roof, reach 500 member companies and build a strong institutional structure that answers the sector's needs.

In the five years since our founding we have reached 230 member companies. This strong participation is a clear sign of the sector's need to gather under one roof and of the trust placed in TETSED.

Our greatest goal for the future is to lead the way for the event and meeting technologies sector to gain an institutional structure in the nature of a professional chamber, where all stakeholders are represented, strong and sustainable.

While solving the sector's needs of today, TETSED continues its work with determination to build a stronger, more qualified, world-class Turkish event technologies sector for tomorrow.
